A group of young people calling themselves ‘Plants’ is making effort to create a green environment, and will organize `Nammora Habba,’ a free-entry entertainment program at Panambur beach in Mangalore.

This program is being organized in order to collect money from people for the planting of saplings, protecting the planted saplings and raising voices against rampant deforestation. The fest would have four major events, which includes a musical show `C Ashwath Bhava Namana, based on songs sung by famous singer-music director Late C. Ashwath, a comedy program ‘Nammoora Nage Habba,’ by Hasyostava team,’ Malnad food festival & Vanamohatsava, and beach volleyball for men.

The orchestra `C Ashwath Bhava Namana’ would be presented by a team which includes Sangeetha Katti Jogi Sangeetha, Vinaya Kumar and team. Comedian Prof. Krishne Gowda and team would present Nammora Nage Habba. This group will also start a program for the planting of saplings for next monsoon and as a part of its program it will also launch a plan to protect the existing plants.
